More about Power Lines

Health problems have been found, especially in children. What distance from power lines is safe? The danger zone can be as little as 300 to 600 meters. The only way to know is to have a test done with an accurate EMF meter by a professional who knows how to use it.

Physicist Professor Henshaw with the University of Bristol found that people who spend 10 per cent of their time close to power lines are exposed to twice the acceptable level of radioactivity. His study linked power lines to leukaemia, skin cancer, lung cancer, depression and suicide.

Research conducted by Oxford University revealed that children who had lived within 200m of high voltage lines at birth had a 70% higher risk of leukaemia than those 600 meters or more away.

Do you want to know the safe distance from that powerline near you or close to your new prospective home? We will come and measure the readings produced by the power lines you’re concerned about. We’ll tell you what is safe, and answer your questions on how to proceed.

We measure harmful EMF radiation near power lines and do EMF home inspections in and around Toronto, the GTA, in most of Ontario and in Chicago.
